YES! All you have to do is get on the board go. It’s by far the fastest and easiest way to learn!
We have a 100% foil success rate! Everyone of our students foil on their first session.
Plus with the New Flitescooter anyone can ride as the board provides ample floatation and the handlebars provide more control while flying!
Unfortunately due to safety & liability, insurance, and California PWC regulations, we can not provide unsupervised rentals for eFoils at our location.
If you are interested in offsite rentals for a Fliteboard you will need
1) A current California boater card
2) Proof of completion of a lesson at an Authorized Fliteschool
3) Watercraft insurance to cover the efoil and injury
1) We don’t charge shipping for local customers (buying direct from fliteboard cost $400 in shipping)
2) We provide all buyers with a free lesson ($350 value) which covers how to assemble and ride plus general waterway rules and safety.
3) You help support a local business! Purchasing from us helps us provide free tech support and assistance for all eFoil owners.
All you need is a swim suit and a towel for afterwards. If you wear glasses you may want eyeglass holders or wear contacts for the lesson.
We provide:
The complete efoil package
A helmet
PFD (Life vest)
Wetsuit
2-way communication radio
While top speeds are upwards for 35mph the minimum speed for most beginners is only 10mph. Like other water and snow sports, beginners will wipe out on their first session. Part of the learning experience involves learning to fall away from the board to avoid injury. The only time we’ve seen injuries is from misuse and intentional unsafe behavior.
Fliteboard’s hydrofoil efficiency, fully electric design, and light weight makes it potentially the most environmentally friendly ‘powered’ water craft (not reliant upon wind or waves) when speed and range is considered.
